The Odes of Solomon

The Odes of Solomon, an early Christian hymnbook of forty-two odes preserved in Syriac (Ode 2 is lost), in the 1920 English translation of J. Rendel Harris and Alphonse Mingana. The odes sing of the Lord as the singer's crown, the living water, the Word, the cross and the Messiah's descent to the dead, often in Christ's own voice.
